I am glad to see so many people take an interest in grammar, but most of you are simply taking what you are familiar with and declaring it law. If you wish to be a descriptivist, fine, then shut up, because nobody's wrong. If you favor proscriptive grammar, then get it right. Finally, Animal Farm, especially as an avatar for 1984, is not about religion. It is about totalitarian collectivism. Merely saying a thing does not make it so. Charade you are!
