No, woman, no cry.A rendering of this title in Jamaican patois would be "No, woman, nuh cry". The "nuh", which makes a shorter vowel sound for "no", is the equal to the contraction "don't".
So the title would become "No, woman, don't cry".And (I think) Marley said these words to help the women in the Trenchtown ghetto to keep looking at the future and do not cry for what has passed. (referring to the words "Everything's gonna be all right!")
