I am Canadian. Me and my friends have always called it "Lego". Most Americans seem to say "Legos". I think the difference is how we see it. I see it as a game called Lego, not a bunch of individual pieces. For this reason, "I want to play Legos" is no less correct than saying, "I want to play Monopolies".
