I'm a veteran writer and, since 2020, I've been seeing content everywhere that now is using "st," "nd," and "th" when writing cardinal numbers even when accompanied by month and/or year. It was only when numbers were used alone. Has this rule changed? Thanks for the editorial update, ~E
