In fact to teach English you must study for at least 30 years, study any books available, at the end you have the point of vue of all the linguists available in the world, and then you try to teach... (I am French by the way), a language is far more difficult to understand than that...

The problem is, there are rules when you teach English, and you often drop those rules when you speak, let's say, real English.

Hi, I have been studying (that means still stuying "not sure") English linguistics for year and years, I've read almost all that has been written on the subject of simple form vs continuous -ing form, nobody has succeded in explaining it correctly, even so-called PHD specialist don't understand this subject.
In fact there are not rules, I am embarrassed since I teach English...
