I use " text'd " for the past tense of the verb "text". Most people around these parts don't speak "tex-ted". It just doesn't sound right, (It's like the ugly but correct word "swum", as in "He has often SWUM in that pool". Nobody says "swum".) Anyway " text'd " seems the best to me.
